Where to start?
Where to start?
Time to prioritise your energy and efforts on the things that matter most to you!
How many of the following symptoms do you experience on a daily basis?
Low energy and physical fatigue
Cognitive impairment or “brain fog”
Persistent pain in your lower back, frozen shoulder,
or wrist and hand issues, with no clear cause..
Work related stress, impacting your leisure time and activity choices
If you relate to two or more areas, it’s time to take action…
Chronic Fatigue & Burnout
High levels of stress in your life can lead to significant over-stimulation of your nervous system and a persistent sense of exhaustion and overwhelm.
It doesn’t have to be this way forever.
When we start working together, I meet you where you’re at, establishing your baseline abilities and helping you build your physical and mental capacity again.
We work together to identify and actively address the heightened physical, cognitive or emotional elements of your condition, taking a practical and systematic approach towards recovery. Creating a new rhythm to your day and identifying the activities that are important to you.
Working in tandem with your treating GP and allied health practitioners, this service provides a holistic approach to your recovery and thus, the greatest benefit to you in your recovery journey.
Persistent Pain
High levels of persistent pain can lead to emotional distress, worsening sleep patterns and low mood, reducing your enjoyment and engagement in life activities.
When the cycle of pain is left to continue, it quickly becomes the new normal and your ability to interact in the world around you becomes restricted. You start to wonder if you’ll ever feel better?
Don’t keep bouncing from therapist to therapist, trying every approach possible to seek relief.
Look for tailored intervention programs that create structure around your effort, build on your success and create the “new normal” you want to live by.
My RETRAIN PAIN program centres around 4 key principles:
LEARNING: Helping you understand your pain experience in more detail to identify what happens for you, when your nervous system becomes overactive. Keeping in mind everyone is different in their experience.
REPROCESSING: Utilising evidence based coaching and brain retraining practices, to enable you to deal with pain differently and create safety signals to your brain.
REBUILDING: Effectively managing and reducing the intensity of your pain experience, creating new neural pathways to create a greater sense of safety and trust in your body again. In doing this, we can gradually increase your activity tolerances and build on your quality of life.
REFLECTING: Identifying emotional and cognitive factors at play in how you reinforce a greater sense of safety in your body for the long term, to reduce recurrence of painful sensory experiences in your body.
This program uses neuroscience-led Pain Reprocessing Therapy (known as PRT) to better understand how neuroplastic pain has developed in the brain and ways to reduce the severity of the pain experience through retraining.

Why Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy navigates the gap between physical and psychological concerns, pulling together a truly holistic approach to recovery and improved performance.
Building high performance requires a holistic review of your physical and mental health, your values, past experiences, motivators and barriers.
The biopsychosocial model, common within the OT approach helps to identify the important interplay of factors for the person, as well as their engagement in the environment and their occupations of choice.
Common benefits of engaging in Occupational Therapy can include:
More effective management of physical and mental health challenges, supporting a smoother recovery process.
Improved functional capabilities and routines
Return to work assistance and career support services
Enhanced quality of life
By focusing on meaningful activities and routines, individuals can regain more confidence and direction, to achieve their personal goals.
