Chronic Fatigue & Burnout
High levels of stress in your life can lead to significant over-stimulation of your nervous system and a persistent sense of exhaustion.
It doesn’t have to be this way forever.
I meet you where you’re at, establishing your baseline abilities and helping you build your physical and mental capacity again. We work together to identify and actively address the heightened physical, cognitive or emotional elements of your condition, taking a practical and systematic approach to recovery, getting you back into routines and the activities you want to do.
Working together with your treating GP, Specialist, psychologist, physiotherapist or exercise physiologist, this service provides a holistic approach to your recovery and thus, the greatest benefit to you, collaborating with your team to create an easily accessible 4-stage method to reset your energy.
Persistent Pain
High levels of persistent pain can lead to emotional distress, worsening sleep patterns and low mood, reducing your enjoyment and engagement in life activities.
When the cycle of pain is left to continue, it quickly becomes the new normal and your world can becomes smaller, your choices reduce and you start to lose hope and bounce from therapist to therapist, trying every approach possible to seek relief.
My intervention program centres around 4 key areas:
LEARNING: understanding your pain experience and what happens when your nervous system becomes overactive
REPROCESSING: evidence based coaching and brain retraining to deal with pain differently
REBUILDING: effectively managing and reducing the intensity of your pain experience, to increase your activity levels and quality of life.
REFLECTING: identifying emotional and cognitive factors at play in how you reinforce a greater sense of safety in your body long term.
This program uses neuroscience-led Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) to reduce your pain experience and the associated health anxiety you’ve been living with. As a qualified PRT therapist, I look forward to working with you on an active and evidence based recovery plan.
